Course Description: This 4 contact hour course provides students with in-depth instruction on the requirements of NFPA 72, Chapter 12, Circuits and Pathways.
Course Topics Include:
Discussion of NFPA 72, Chapter 12, Circuits and Pathways
Circuit concept of operations covering normal operation, troubles, alarms, and circuit faults
Circuit operation and troubleshooting exercises
Course Objectives: Upon completion of this course, the qualified individual will be able to properly identify various circuit types that are typically installed for fire alarm systems. With this knowledge, the student will gain a better understanding of the capabilities of the circuits and improve their ability to troubleshoot the circuits and pathways to resolve trouble conditions.
