Course Description: This 2-day (14 contact hours) course provides students with in-depth coverage of NFPA 72 and NFPA 70.
Course Topics Include:
Discussion of NFPA 72
Overview of NFPA 70, Article 760 and other articles as it relates to fire alarm systems
Student exercises on how to navigate the codes and apply requirements to scenario-based exercises
Open book test at end of Day 1
Open book test at end of Day 2
Course Objectives: Upon completion of this course, the qualified individual will have a greater understanding of how to navigate and interpret the requirements of NFPA 72 and NFPA 70 for the installation and maintenance of fire alarm systems.
